civilian contractors in iraq ----180,000 plus

It takes about 10 support troops to keep 1 combat soldier in the field. Most food preparation is done by contract workers. Today most troops are combat troops.

Must interject that MANY of those contractors are there for the almighty dollar and our troops are having to take care of them! THAT is a waste of our taxes. Those contractors are supposedly "rebuilding" Iraq....yeah, one million bucks at a time! They need to send some of them packing and let our troops take care of BUSINESS !!!!!

Some of those contractors are there because they are having problems finding a job on their own shores... I'm not saying there aren't greedy people there, but there are a lot of desperate people there too...
