Are either of you using the free McAfee security with your Comcast? If so are your images blocked on incoming E-Mail?

Mike - I am running the McAffee security through Vista, but I use Juno for my e-mail, not Comcast, and have not had a problem with atachments.
I recently got a message from McAffee that my subscription had been renewed and I was about to cancel, but I don't know that Vista has all the components. Better safe than sorry.

Ok, thanks, I asked Comcast about this dilemna and they seemed to think it was McAfee that was causing the problem. I don't have any trouble opening attachments...just the E-Mail with images in the body (blocked)

I tried everything I can think of with McAfee....I know there has to be an answer out there. I just have not found it yet.

Mike, I never really used the comcast email system ON Comcast... I have hotmail, and it checks my comcast email for me... Yahoo & every other email system can check it for you too...

Mike, I use Vista, XP pro, XP home, and Win2000 computers, all networked on a Comcast cable connection. I use Netscape for my email client and usually Netscape as my browser, but sometimes IE. The router has a firewall, and some of the machines also use Microsofts firewall. I use Norton Antivirus on all of the machines. I have seen the problem you have (photos not displaying in emails). I just can't recall how I fixed it. I _think_ it was a setting in the Netscape email client. There is a setting for "Display attachments inline" that I think fixes it. Can you save the attachments to your desktop (or disk folder) and view them there? If you can, then that says the image is getting through and that it is a display setting in the email client (Outlook?).

Mike, I use XP and when Tiger sends me an e-mail Earthlink/Embarq tells me that her ISP is suspicious and eliminates all of her attachments and graphics. I have not been able to figure that one out even though she is in my address book as a good e-mail address. I am at a loss because now it is not only Tiger's email but once in a while other people from whom I do occasionally get a good graphc.
I don't have a clue. I use AVG but think we have McAfee also.
