I received a call about 9:30 this evening from my cousin Ginger. Our cousin Danny Mare passed away this morning. He has been suffering from cancer for several years. He went into remission for a while, but it came back full force again.
What a shame, he was (I think) 2 yrs. older than me. When we were kids, Danny and I were very close, than he went off to college and I got married. From than on we only saw each other at weddings and wakes.
He and his family have lived in Maryland for many, many years.
God rest his soul.
