The sun is shining again - no rain tonight, although it did get very dark a while ago, and there were a few drops of rain on my windshield as I drove home. Guess I have to water the plants again tonight.
Listening to the news, Bronx River Parkway was flooded!!! and there were blackouts in the Bronx as well as Manhattan. Subway service was suspended on several lines!!!

From the news this morning, the rains are going to come tonight and build until tomorrow... I can just imagine how bad things will get

We need rain here in OH very badly. The grass is brown everywhere. It has been extremely hot, in the low 90's. Tomorrow is supposed to be a little cooler (low 80's). Come on rain!

Tommy had to lleave the pool due to bad weather....poured in Westchester with thunder and lightening...nothing in the Bronx!
the D, 4 and 5 weren't running.

It poured here and there was thunder and lightening. The wind was about 50 miles an hour. I've never seen it rain like it did this evening. I thought the big tree out front was going to blow down. Luckily it didn't.

We got all the rain here in Texas, I getting my boat ready just in case, all the lakes and rivers are over flowing.....we even cancel church tonight....

We had thunder and lighting and heavy rain here in central NJ. Now I wont have to water the plants and I shut off the sprinkler.

THEY SAY WE ARE GOING TO GET SOME RAIN TODAY. WE SURE CAN USE IT TO CUT THE HIGH HUMIDITY. PLUS WE ARE DOWN OVER 7INCHES OF RAIN FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR, VERY DRY
