Very cool - my group did a lot of work in providing data before and after the Piper deal...
Its not a bad company to work for...

Please don't disappear after you go to Europe. Now we'll have 2 members over there as Josephine lives in Italy.

Maine House - Sold Care-free life - Resumed.. Congratulations! There's an old joke (proverb?, axiom?) that the two happiest times in a man's life is when he buys a boat, and when he sells it. I think that, many times, it also applies to a house. That's fantastic! Enjoy every minute of the time you'll have there. A great hopping off point for great weekend trips all over Europe. One of my regrets in life is not taking a somewhat similar opportunity years ago. Yes indeed! I've saved your story of St Joseph - I think I'll have one more house to sell and one more to buy in the next few years.... ya just need every "edge"....

F-Mike -- I'm not disappearing! Im still the same old slacker! Joan, Thank you! Pegleg - That selling a boat proverb is true for a second house... But I really dont want to sell my NJ home and I would be bummed selling it after living here for 14 years.... I finally left my childhood Bronx apt in 1993 and i remember feeling so bad about it -- I realize I needed to leave it, but it was hard -- and i think i'd have the same feeling with this place (Luckily i dont need to leave) I'm excited about Zurich - its a little frightening considering I dont speak German, but its just something I really want to do... And I'm finding out that there are a LOT of similar St Joseph stories out there... It made me rethink a lot of things i thought I knew

I'm excited about Zurich - its a little frightening considering I dont speak German, but its just something I really want to do... I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how well you'll get along with a combination of English and sign language. And you'll probably pick up a few words of German, Fr, etc. A course in German, or ?, before you go would probably give you a real advantage, but I wouldn't let it be a requirement. I barely speak English, and seldom had a problem being understood. Except for that Scotsman, who thought he spoke English.... I think you'll really enjoy your stay.

Definitely plan to take a course in German before I go... Figure I'll start that in October after i finish the current class... Spoke to a few other co-workers who did the assignment and they loved it there... Only thing to worry about is NO AIR CONDITIONING!!!!! Y'all know how much i hate the heat!
