On Wednesday I took mom to see the neurosurgeon. He was really wonderful. The way he was able to calm mom down and help relieve her stress was incredible. He feels that the pain she is experiencing is from her shoulder and not from her neck. She does, however, have a problem with the cervical spine that will need to be corrected surgically but, he wants the shoulder to be taken care of first. She has cervical stenosis (narrowing of the spine) with myodisplasia (hyper-acute reflexes). (Gee, I hope I spelled these medical words correctly.  Once the shoulder is replaced, he will perform this surgery about 6-8 weeks later. It's looking like it will be a fun fall around here.  I'll keep you updated as I know more. Jeannie thanks for posting about your Mom. I was concerned like the rest of the BCS and that is why I sent you the e-mail.
Tell Bobbi ( your Mom ) that we are all keeping her in our prayers.
BTW: When will they do the shoulder surgery?
