The former Yankee 2nd baseman who played along side of the Scooter is believed to be the oldest active play by play announcer in MLB. He has been in the San Diego Padre Radio Booth for 37 years. In February of this year, he signed a contract extension thru the 2009 season. At that time he will be 85 years old.
