Happy Friday the 13th!I don't have a fear of "Friday the 13th" (Paraskevidekatriaphobia), or any other superstition,AFIK. I do sometimes play the games but just for laughs, like not walking under a ladder....I did once own a black cat.... . However, apparently some 17-21 million in the US do have the superstition to one degree or another.
According to an article in Wikipedia, one possible origin of the superstition is "The superstition appears to be related to the extreme tragedy of the Trials of the Knights Templar which started with their arrest in Friday 13 October 1307, which was perpetrated by Philip IV of France and his counselors with aims to acquire the wealth of the Templars. " There are a number of other possibilities, but ....
And then there's always the horror movie "Friday the 13th", but I've never seen it.
Anyway, dance and sing your fears away. Not in public though, as you may get arrested.... that would be unlucky.
My Knight Templar. Sir Loin.
