That was terrific Mike. Many memories there. In fact I graduared from PS 90 in 1953 and spent many a Sunday afternoon in the Fleetwood and loew's 167th. Plus other pictures close to my old nabe

Mike....who's site is that? Where did you find it? I wish I could lift some of those pictures off there but the function is disabled when you right click on the picture.

Lenny, I googled Bronx in the 40's and that came up. I don't know who the site belongs to...but It's a beautiful tribute to a deceased mother....

Best I can do Mike -- Google Maps Street View only lets you do things on the bigger streets (Webster concourse, Kingsbridge,etc)

This google map site is awesome....I took a trip from Fordham Road all the way down Webster Avenue one block south of Claremont Parkway to my old parish OLV....Webster Ave has changed a lot!
