There was an expose on traumatic brain in juries and how these brave people are lost in the after-care system of our military medical care system with the fellow who had a brain injury while working for one of the network news stations. Can't think of his name but it was horrendous how these injured vets were treated so well oveseas only to be left on their own once they got home.

Welcome to the Best of Government provided health care! I was talking with a Brit (RAF) the other day about the UK vs US health care. He was saying that the Brit Health Care system is actually very good. He went on to say that the only problem with it is that it is underfunded!!!

CNN did a good job with the expose this evening...What A Mess! The VA needs more administrators like Tammy Duckworth of Illinois. I just caught the show, it ran at 9PM CA time. You're right, CNN did a good job. Aside from the VA bureaucracy mess, I was really struck with the courage and spirit of these young troops in dealing with their injuries. Truly, American heroes who deserve more than they are receiving from the VA.
