Excellent marketing tool. My only comment of concern as a human resources director for many years, is the one statement by a graduate about "women" looking for this career. I don't think you should give the impression that Heritage is a woman's school of design. There are many men who do very well in interior design and I would hate t see you lose that base with a marketin tool that appears geared toward woman.
Jan did a wonderful job on this video. I would have guessed that she has had a lot of training in making videos or that you used some actors. Really great job.
By the way, being partial to dogs, I loved that beautiful black dog in the video!!!!! Also, the design theme in the interor was lovely.

fran --thanks for your comments -- all are well taken--- actually we have had a few men take the course over the years but the majority of students were as you can imagine women
jan has had no training in making videos -- but the guy that filmed and edited it has-- jan wrote all the copy and the ladies speaking are not actors but graduates and instructors at the school
glad that you liked molly --- she is the school counsellor- and when she goes to the school she smells everyone to make sure they are happy-- the interior where jan is sitting and standing at the end of her session is in our home--- the rest of the shots are at the school

Great job! I had the same reaction as Fran, re women only.... must be some EEOC ruling on that The only other thing I noticed was that Jan's audio seemed to fade some, especially just before the first student's comments (Susan, I think). Maybe she could get James to add some of his special effects!! ;D

Hey Lou, it looks great... The constructive criticism I would give is: --- The Susan Salinas speaking clip is too small for too long... It looks like she was put in that blue box to give her a place to put her name title, but when the name went away, she spoke for too long in the blue box... Maybe when her name title disappears, her video should grow to fill the screen? --- I agree that you should throw a guy or two in there just to show its not women only... You dont want to exclude 50% of the population --- And maybe I notice this because I have a problem with this myself in my vids, but it seems like early on you could tell Jan was reading the script... Later on she got much more comfortable with the words and they sounded more natural... The words themselves were excellent tho... Hope this helps -- I can't really see a need for any of my effects, but if you need something like that added, let me know -=James

I enjoyed the video. I've always had a passion for "Design", but never any training. When I had my own business, selling window treatments, I worked with many designers and picked their brains.
All my best wishes for Jan's continued success.
