Yesterday an all white jury found corrections guards and a nurse at a "boot camp" not guilty of killing a 14 year old black youth. The guards are on video beating this skinny kid to the ground with several other guards standing by as well as the nurse.
I am so disgusted with the justice system these days. It no longer matters if you are guilty or not. The color of the jury and defendents decide.
God help us all. Just wait for Big Al Sharpton and his ilk to use this one big time!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If the parents did a better job raising this kid who died in bootcamp, he would never have been there in the first place. This kid had a criminal record as long as his arm. I understand that there are plenty of good parents who did a good job raising their kids and then the kids went astray and got into trouble, but this is not one of those good family situations.
I do not believe the guards and the nurse are guilty. They did not even know about this kids medical problems. They treated him the same way they treat any other kid that was acting out in bootcamp. They are there to be punished, not to be rewarded with a utopian lifestyle.
I agree 100% with the not guildty verdict. Now the government is going to have a special and separate investigation and try these guards again. That is double jeapardy! The jury of their peers have spoken...."NOT GUILTY." There should be no need for further investigation. The govenment is worried about the Black Afro Americans rioting because they don't agree with the verdict and they want to try and hang these guards to appease the Black community. Hogwash I say! The justice system has spoken! NOT GUILTY! So let it be said....so let it be done! It's the American way!

Lenny you are way off base on this one. It had everything to do with over-agressive treatment by the cops and being ignored by the doc and the nurse. Sometimes I wonder if you read the same newspapers that I read or watch the same evening news.
Yes, the kid was a hoodlum and yes his parents are responsible for his lack of appropriate behavior and not advising he had medical problems, BUT THE GUARDS BEAT HIM TO THE GROUND AND THE NURSE STOOD BY AND WATCHED.

YOUR ATTITUDE ON THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS THAT THE BLACK COMMUNITY BELIEVES WHITE PEOPLE ARE RACIST! This kid was incorrigible but did not deserve the beating he got REGARDLESS of any medical issues he had.
