Alysia went home today

Yesterday was another day of her getting hurt she went into the swamp at the end of the beach where she was told not to go
and step on a broken shell had to take her to the hospital 60 mile trip they flushed out the wound and did not stitch it has to heal from the inside out She is on crutches and antibotics for the next 7 days had to call my son and he picked her up this morning
I could not handle her with this injury just pray that no infection forms in it as the water in the swamp was very dirty
Will let you know how she makes out at her dr tomorrom

This is why grandparenting is a good thing....you could call her daddy up and say Alysia needs you!! God bless. She is just a normal little girl who wants adventures. Now she had at least two this Summer alone!! Take care!!

I'm sure she'll heal up quickly kids are very resilient. And don't you and Jim start to feel guilty...s--t happens beyond on your control. At times I miss not having grandkids; but, that would be one more thing to worry about.

I never had a problem with my Grandchildren if I said don't go there they did not go there
This one Great Granddaughter has a mind of her own and did not follow my instructions well at all. I think now she has learned but to late

There is such pain when one of our grandchild is in pain even worse is if it happens on our watch . My heart goes out to you. I pray Alysia heals quickly and you forgive and forget your pain.
