Daddy worked there for many years. He was in the Club House and was a bartender. He worked for Stevens Corp. My uncle Danny Hickey also worked for Stevens but I am not sure if he was in the club house or elsewhere. I know daddy was there at least from 1958 until probably when he passed away in 1975. My dad was Jimmy Colleton and knew lots' of people there. One of his best friends was Ben Greenberg but again, I am not sure where at Yonkers Benny worked.
I moved this to a new thread since it got lost in the Chow Mein post.

My older sister June husband and his father worked the track and other places as secured , my brother in law name was Ed Pagani, and his dad was Lou. I have heard the name Ben Greenberg some time back in my past. I'm sure that your Dad knew them. They have all past on now. Thanks Fram

Last time I heard from Benny Greenberg was about five years ago. He and his wife, Anna, always called us at Christmas because they were so fond of my mom and dad. I believe his last call came a year or two before mom passed away in 2004. I don't know if they are still alive. As friendly as my dad was, I am betting he knew the Pagani's. He was quite a character and very friendly.
