Very nice picture! Tiger, where in Inwood did you live before moving to Newcomb? I have 2 aunts that were on Seaman Ave for 43 and 28 years respectively. Both moved to Carmel back in 95.

FIRST APT THERE IN 1965WAS ON SHERMAN AVENUE AND SICKLES STREET THEN MOVED TO HILLSIDE AVE AND ELLWOOD ST NEXT MOVE TO NEWCOMB AND WILL STAY HERE UNTIL I DIE

THAT'S RIGHT MIKE I WAS CLOSER TO DYCKMAN STREET SEAMAN STARTS AT DYCKMAN AND GOES UP TO 218TH STREET USE TO BE A GREAT AREA AND I WAS NEVER AFRAID TO WALK AT NIGHT AROUND THERE BUT WOULD NOT DO THAT TODAY
MY SON STILL GOES OVER TO PATRICK'S BAR ON DYCKMAN ST AND HE SAID THE AREA IS STARTING TO COME BACK AGAIN A LOT OF IRISH KIDS ARE RENTING THERE NOW

THIS IS A REAL OLD BUILDING THE WALLS AND CEILINGS HAD TIN ON THEM I REMEMBER THE TIN CEILINGS IN MY APT ON PROSPECT AVENUE

Some of those Irish kids were talking about Patrick's the other night on the MB.

Not too many of those great Irish taverns left...Patrick's in Inwood and a few left in the Bainbridge area north of Fordham and Woodlawn is loaded with them!
