Amazing - I remember a site a few years ago that accurately gave your birthday. I think it was anybirthday.com. I erased mine and all I knew from that one.
Thanks for the tip.

For the most part it works. But I put in a few numbers that are not listed in the phone book and got no results

Thanks. I just removed Joe and my home phone from this list. It did not have our cell phone numbers, thank goodness! Thanks again for the tip!

Thanks for posting this Lou. Some other areas people may want to check: Enter your entire name, with middle initial, within quotes, in Google. Try different spellings, nicknames, with/without middle initial. Also, search in the various categories that Google offers (Web, Images, News, etc). You may be surprised by how much is out there on you, or on people with your name (who may be mistaken for you). I found stuff I posted 13 years ago, some obscure engineering papers I wrote over the years, the oldest being 21 years ago (before the Internet was little more than a dribble!), a guy with my exact name arrested on conspiracy charges, most of my previous 13 addresses, etc. The more you dig the more likely you will be surprised. Then go to switchboard.com. Enter your name. Search in your state or everywhere. Then enter your phone number and do a "search by phone". There are other sites, some free, some for a fee, that can be accessed to find a LOT of info on most people. The best defense seems to be to have a very common name, get lost in the crowd. The good side of all this- I was able to locate 14 of 15 old friends from HS and college who I had lost track of. The bad side- you can also be tracked by unknown people, for whatever reason. Have fun, Pegleg!
