Mom has deteriorated physically & mentally, to a point where nursling home is becoming the only option. I haven't been back since August because of our daughter Kim's health problem. She lives in Arizona, so Isabel's been there nearly full time tending to our Granddaughters.
Kim had double mastectomy in September. The results were 3 tumors, 2 cancer Grade 2 & 1 benign. Nothing in lymph nodes & she has been declared to be now cancer free. Her procedure was performed at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale. Great doctors & wonderful facilities. We are hoping for the best. Its been tough on all especially the children. Kim is a tough girl, Bronx tough. She works out in the gym (with weights) everyday & just returned from 5 days taking care of Grandma, in N.Y. She has been a marathon runner all her adult life, with excellent recorded times every time out. Doctors say that is why this recovery is going remarkably well. Thank God.
How are you & Tony doing. I read something on the BCS Board about a sickness you developed. What is the problem? I sure hope recovery is swift for whatever ails you. Don't take anything for granted. Treat yourself well.
