I got a call last night from the dealership where I bought my new car to tell me that the power steering part was in. I made an appointment for 10:30 this morning. After waiting 2 hours, I looked and the hood was down, so I figured the car was finished. [glow=red,2,300]NOT[/glow]They hadn't started on it yet!!!
The service man said I should have not waited because it was going to take at least another 2 or 3 hours, and he would arrange to have someone drive me home and pick me up when it was done. Then he came over and sat down next to me to inform me that the wrong part had come in!!!!!! Now I have to go back [glow=red,2,300]AGAIN[/glow] next week. To appease me he said they would give me a loaner car to use for the day when I go back.

I would be just as angery as you if that happened to me. Tell them you want free service for a year.

it happens with greater frequency then u would imagine
accidently transpose one diget in the part number and instead of a power steering unit you get a hub cab for a 89 chevy

Well, I did get an extra 3 months extended warranty to make up for the 39 month lease when I asked for a 36 month.
