City Island remains one of the few pristine nabes left in our Bronx!

John and I used to take the bus every Tuesday night all the way to CITY ISLAND and ride to the end of the city to the Penny Arcade, And then he would eat Calms right across the street. Always was lots of fun..

I went to City Island many times. I think the name of the place I ate at was right over the bridge on the right - can't remember the name. Had good food, a great piano player and a nice deck. I think there was a restaurant down further called the Lobster House. Nice place then.
